Can I collect or drop my dog over weekends or public holidays?
- Unfortunately, we only do check-ins and outs through the office and only
during office hours. This is to ensure that when dogs come in with special
requirements or medicine that we can correctly inform our kennel staff.
Do you offer long-term boarding?
- We do offer long-term boarding, and a special rate that goes along with it.
Special rate will depend on duration of stay and number of dogs.
Please contact us to enquire about this.
Will my dog have time for free play?
- Outdoor time for our boarding dogs are very important for both us and the dogs. Dogs will either be moved to our play areas during the day, or they’ll be moved to designated outdoor areas to run around, get a sniff or two and stretch their legs.
Will my dog be taken to a vet if necessary?
- We try our best to make sure that dogs are well taken care of. This said, dogs will be dogs and as much as we want to wrap them up in bubble wrap to keep them safe, we can’t. Should a dog require veterinary assistance, we will take them to either one of the 2 closes vets to us (Noordhoek Vet or Four Ways). We will be in contact with the owner where possible, but should we not be able to reach the owner, will do what we deem necessary for the well-being of the dog.
Why does grooming take longer some days?
- As with people, dogs can also have an ‘off day’ from time to time. Or, some of our older dogs that come in for grooming can’t stand for too long before they need to sit down for a bit. Our parlour staff always does what’s best to keep the pups happy. That means that should a dog need a break in between brushing or be moved to the parlour yard to dry off before going to the drying table, that is what they’ll do.
Will you be able to handle my unsocial dog for grooming?
- Unsocial dogs (towards other dogs) are easily managed by our experienced grooming staff. Your pup will be put in a kennel where he/she will wait to be fetched for their wash. After the groom, they will be put back in a kennel. We will take all necessary steps to ensure the safety of your dog and the other dogs in our care.
Will you give my dog medicine?
- Yes. Any and all provided medicine will be given to your dog as and when needed. We do ask that you inform us of all conditions / old injuries so we can best take care of your dog during his/her stay with us.
Can you collect / drop my dogs off?
- We do offer a collection and drop off service for our boarding and grooming dogs, at an extra fee. Please contact us to enquire about this service.
Why does my dog need updated vaccinations?
- All dogs on our property for either boarding or day care must have all vaccinations up to date. This is to ensure a safe space for your dog/s and allows for free play in our designated play areas.
How many dogs are likely to be at your facility?
- The number of dogs we have on our premises greatly differ from day to day. We take extra care to ensure that dogs of similar size, energy level, age, temperament etc. are put together and supervised at all time.
